Eating consciously and staying in motion – my experiences
A balanced diet and exercise are part of an everyday life for me, in which I feel more comfortable.
In the past, I mainly made sure that it went quickly and tasted good. What my body needed hardly mattered to me. Today I am more aware of my diet and notice that this change is good for me.
I don’t want to blame anyone for previous habits, not even myself. What matters to me is what I can change today. It doesn’t have to be big steps: Even small changes can help build new habits.
In addition, I take various dietary supplements, including OPC, B vitamins, vitamin D3, vitamin C, L-carnitine and MSM. Overall, I feel fitter and more balanced with my way of life today. However, I cannot safely assess the proportion of the individual preparations in this.
My personal experience is not a general recommendation for use. Dietary supplements do not replace a balanced diet. Whether they are necessary and which dosage is suitable should be clarified by a doctor. Information from the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment
Exercise is also important to me. I try to engage in physical activity as often as possible. Through Ormond's disease, I don't always succeed in the way I want it to be. That's why I adapt my activities to my powers and my day shape.
I want to stick to it without overwhelming myself. On some days more is possible, on others less – and also rest is part of it. For me, every little step that is good for me counts.
